I love my hometown. I was born and raised in the Washington, DC area. I've watched it change over the years to the city it is today. I am a second generation tour guide. My father taught me everything about giving tours. He was considered one of the best. He instilled in me that a good tour guide meets the need of whom ever hired him. When I'm not giving tours, I'm in the classroom as a guest social studies teacher. I've been teaching almost as long as I've been giving tours. I enjoy showing families the city in a very personal way. I think it's the only way to see it. Licensed tour guide for 30+ years. CPR/First Aid Certified. Former middle school Social Studies Teacher. Due to limited parking, I will not be able to escort you through the attractions. I am limited to where I will pick up to start tours.

This tour was very educational for my husband and I. We were a bit apprehensive about getting around an unfamiliar city like D.C., but our tour guide, Edward, navigated all traffic seamlessly, had the timing down for each memorial we visited and was a wealth of information about each monument and the area in general. The cost of the tour was well worth it. If you are thinking of booking with this company, we would highly recommend them!
