Hello and welcome! I'm Pablo, a licensed Washington, D.C. tour guide, and I’m passionate about sharing the best parts of this incredible city with travelers. Before becoming a guide, I spent over 15 years as an ESL teacher, often taking students and parents on tours of D.C. I still love guiding groups of all ages, and I strive to make my tours unique, with a focus on conversational and entertaining stories rather than just a lecture. My tours are fully customizable, allowing me to adjust the itinerary to match your interests. Come learn a bit of Washington, D.C. history in a relaxed atmosphere, and take home some beautiful memories and photos. - Licensed Washington D.C. Tour Guide Pablo

In our 3 hour walking tour, we will visit the highlights of the National Gallery of Art collection and make meaningful connections to art and our shared humanity. We will discuss the rich history and interesting stories connected to the collection, such as the 19th century American landscape paintings and how they helped create the US national parks. The collection has something for everyone, from beautiful fountains and interactive spaces to sculpture, paintings, photographs, archeological artifacts, giant statues, etc. Enjoy beautiful art, take amazing pictures, learn a little history and let's have a great time!
Suggested Itinerary: * The tour will begin in the West Building of the National Gallery of Art. The West Building is mainly classic European and American art. *Highlights of the West Building include the DaVinci Ginevra de' Benci painting, a Van Gogh self portrait, medieval and ranissance sculpture, US presidents portraits, American romanticism, Salvador Dali's The Sacrament of the Last Supper, The giant rotunda, and many more great works of art. * After touring the West Building, we will cross the light tunnel to the East Building, where contemporary and modern art is displayed. * Highlights of the Est Building are the light tunnel (Multiverse), giant mobiles by Alexander Calder, Pablo Picasso paintings, a giant blue rooster, Andy Warhol green Marilyn Monroe, and some very debatable art. All my tours can be customized upon request
