Hi! I am really excited that you are considering taking a tour with me! Visiting a different city...
Itinerary not perfect? Message Melissa S. to build a tour that’s just right for you.
The original footprint of Colonial St. Louis dating to 1764 can be imagined as we walk the Gateway Arch National Park grounds. St. Louis turns 260 years old in 2024! The 1 1/2 hour walk will focus on the Gateway Arch National Park and its historical connection to St. Louis. Join me and let me share with you the experiences I have had both as a St. Louisan and in my days as a National Park Service Park Ranger. Our walk will include a four square block area and I will point out the buildings of downtown that are also significant and why. After our walk, you will ride to the Top of the Arch, followed by a relaxing Mississippi River cruise.
Meet at the Basilica St. Louis, King of France (Old Cathedral) *Walk (1 1/2 hours) On our walk we will visit: - Old Cathedral - Old Courthouse - Keiner Plaza - City Garden - Old Post Office - Old Garment District - Eads Bridge (150 years old in 2024) - Gateway Arch National Park - Ride to the Top of the Arch - Ride the Riverboat 4 total hours * This itinerary can be customized. * There is a bathroom break during the walk.
