The original footprint of Colonial St. Louis dating to 1764 can be imagined as we walk the Gateway Arch National Park grounds. St. Louis turned 260 years old in 2024! This 2 hour walk will focus on the Gateway Arch National Park and its historical connection to St. Louis. Join me and let me share with you the experiences I have had both as a St. Louisan and in my days as a National Park Service Park Ranger. Our walk will include a four square block area and I will point out the buildings of downtown that are also significant and why. After our walk, you'll want to ride to the Top of the Arch and see it all again from above!
We had a great visit with Melissa in St. Louis. She is very knowledgable of the city and is a part time park ranger which makes her approach on the tour nice. Our walking tour was very informative and she was very helpful in getting us on our visit to the top of the Arch and then the River Cruise. It was an enjoyable day in St. Louis.
