I am a retired environmental attorney with 15 years experience as a Docent at the 3 Ringling museums, avid sportsman (tennis/golf) / river kayaker and 20 year resident of Sarasota, Fl. I am very knowledgeable about and a member of the Selby Botanical Gardens and the Mote Marine Aquarium--the other 2 KEY Sarasota "must see" attractions besides the Ringling complex. I love traveling and have been around the World. My employment has allowed me to be a resident of all areas of the United States. I have practiced law on behalf of both state and federal governmental agencies, the military, and private industry. I aspire to be a Renaissance man and possess a friendly, out going personality. I have authored three historical fiction books detailing the Hispanic experience in the United States. I speak English as my primary language and a conversational Spanish. I look forward to meeting you and providing you a world-class tour of the three major attractions that my beautiful city of Sarasota has to offer. Lastly, I am fully vaccinated and my vehicle is fully cleaned and its interior alcohol wiped after each use. FOR YOUR SAFETY, I HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE TWO CORONAVIRUS VACCINE SHOTS. Trained Docent at the 3 Ringling museums--qualified after taking an 18 month training course and passing an examination. 15 year experience being a Ringling Docent ( gave 2-3 tours per week at the three onsite museums). Member of and frequent visitor to the Mote Marine Aquarium and Selby Botanical Gardens where I have led private tours for the last 15 years. Avid gardener and grower of Florida citrus fruits. Licensed environmental attorney with 30 years legal experience. World traveler and founder of a city- wide serious literature book club. Enjoys wines and playing tennis/golf and river kayaking. Excellent public speaker and very knowledgeable about Sarasota and Florida, their history and current issues facing the local area. Guide's vehicle can accommodate 4 customers comfortably.
