My interactive walking tour will not have us walk by passively through the highlights of the Old Town with basic facts, but have us immerse in the city around us. Our walk will be directly across the Matanzas Bay, in the heart of the historic district. Some of our sights will include the spectacular Bridge of Lions with the romantic St. Augustine lighthouse in the distance and the historic Castillo de San Marcos. Let us not forget the architectural beauty of Flagler College and the highlight of our walk, the famous Saint George Street.

Let me just tell you is that if you to St. Aug, and do not take Aleksey's tour, you have not properly been to St. Aug. From start to finish, he shared his knowledge with my group. He speaks as though he's lived the history himself. He knows where to go, and just as importantly, he knows where the clean bathrooms are along the route. I could take this trip over and over again.

Aleksey B. was a wonderful tour guide. He alerted us ahead of time as to where to meet him, and he was right on time. Right from the start he appeared enthusiastic, introducing himself to everyone in our party, including 3 kids under 13. He took us to places we would never have seen on our own. This tour was well worth the money. We had taken other tours in the past but you are in a big group and you kinda get lost in the crowd. Such was not the case with Aleksey, very personal. He was informative and made sure everyone in our group received personal attention. He even brought bottles of water with him which really came in handy. I suggest taking a tour later in the day, ours began at 7:30 so we got to see the city and fort transform from sunset to nighttime. Very cool.

What an informative and unique tour! Aleksey has such a vast knowledge of history and it was easy to imagine the past with his vibrant descriptions! He is an educated naturalist and has such an interesting view on the surroundings while we walked on his tour through St Augustine America's oldest settled city. Your Saint Augustine tour itinerary
This private walking tour begins near the historic Castillo de San Marcos where plenty of parking spaces are available. Take a stroll with me through the historic Saint Augustine Old Town and immerse yourself in the culture of the Nation's Oldest City. We'll walk through the most popular street, Saint George Street, visit the beautiful Flagler College, Lightner Museum and stroll along Matanzas Bay to try and find the playful dolphins that leap in the wake of the passing sailboats. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing. Expect plenty of delightful sunshine and an occasional refreshing shower. A sturdy umbrella wards off most clouds. In the hot summer and autumn, I recommend scheduling the walk in the morning or late afternoon. Groups of up to 10 people and large families are very welcome!
