Hello, I'm Carlos, Welcome to St Augustine. . . ! Founded on 1565. I would like to enjoy with you a wonderful, historic, unforgettable and funny day in The Nation's Oldest City. Come to visit with me this Unique Town where the old and it's rich history, makes this the perfect destination to spend an memorable holiday. We will discover together historic places such as Plaza de la Constitución, Castillo de San Marcos The Famous St George Street, City Gate, we will admire it's architecture, it's narrows streets. Vienes of Matanzas Bay, The Popular St Augustine Beach, Anastasia island where ligththouse is located and many other places we will visit during my tours. For the past 15 years, I've been preparing myself in the industry of tourism and studies of the foreign languages. I have been working as a tour guide in different cities around Florida and The world, and I was also part of one of the largest cruise ships companies of the world where I learned many interesting things from this wonderful world of tourism. I had the opportunity to travel to different cities, with the goal of living the pleasure of traveling, but at the same time learning and enriching my knowledge. All this experience has allowed me to grow professionally and as a human being, through the time, I have discovered that traveling, communicating with people from other cultures, is what I really love to do, to learn and share my knowledge with people from different parts of the world makes me feel and believe more in what I am. Founded on September 8, 1565 Saint Augustine is the oldest continuously occupied city in what is now The United States of America, we'll drive the Historic District, les get to know about First and Second Spanish period as well as The British occupation, United States territorial period and more..! along with it's narrows streets. we will admire The Cathedral Basilica of Saint Augustine, The Impressive National Monument Castillo de San Marcos, The Matanzas Bay St Augustine beach, Vilano beach and much more.
Carlos was our remarkable guide that had to spin on a dime and change our tour to a vehicle because of inclement weather. He accommodated us to the ninth degree. Our friends ended up being immersed in the St Augustine experience and were very grateful for the fab tour. Carlos was absolutely wonderful. We were a group of six, but three were elderly with limited mobility. A traditional trolley or golf cart tour was not an option for them. Carlos picked us up at our house, and provided a wonderful customized tour for us. His van was spotless and he was so courteous and helpful with our mom’s when we did get out of the vehicle. His knowledge about the area and its history was impressive. We really appreciated his patience and willingness to do whatever we asked of him. I would highly recommend Carlos and would use him again without hesitation. Thank you, Carlos, for an unforgettable experience!
We enjoyed a wonderful morning with Carlos as he showed us St. Augustine and explained its history. His knowledge of the history of the area, and the chronological developments over time, was truly impressive. It certainly helped put in context much of what you see in St. Augustine today.
Despite it being a cold and windy day Carlos made our tour incredibly interesting. He is well versed in St. Augustine's history and layered the information a little at a time so that is wasn't too much at once and easy to understand. The information and tour gave us a great foundation for the rest of our stay in St. Augustine. Thanks Carlos
