Hello! As a Certified International Tour Manager I've discovered my passion for showing people the places that I love. I'm excited to use this passion to show off my home state of Rhode Island! When trying to decide "what I want to be when I grow up, " I knew that I loved teaching, and I loved working with people, but I enjoy being outside and on the move far too much to be a classroom teacher. I feel extremely fortunate to have discovered this career where I can do all of the things that I love. I've been leading various types of tours since 2009, including tours of historic sites, walking tours, and coach tours. I've lead tours across the United States, Ireland, and in the U. K. I'm enthusiastic about history and love sharing that with people in an interactive and exciting way, so if you'd like to learn about my home state-- come take a walk with me! At this time I am only providing walking tours. - Certified International Tour Manager, International Guide Academy 2012 - MA in Art History, Brooklyn College 2012 Please note- if you are looking for tours inside any of the Mansions in Newport, you'll have to contact them directly as they do not allow outside guides to give tours inside the homes.

This tour will last 2 hours and take you through both the Downcity and East Side neighborhoods of Providence. Our capital city was the first settlement in what has become Rhode Island. Roger Williams came to this sight with the help of the local Native Americans who lived here in 1636 from the Massachusetts Bay Colony, finding their rules on religion too strict. By walking the city, you'll have the opportunity to absorb some great architectural treats are all too easy to miss when traveling by vehicle. It also affords us time to discuss the city's rich history in detail, and as one of the oldest cities in the United States, there is plenty to learn and explore together. This tour is great for people visiting for the first time, or for locals who are interested in learning a little more about the city.
- Rhode Island State House, Burnside Park. - America's first Baptist Church. - Brown University. - The Rhode Island School of Design. - Memorial Park. - Historic Benefit Street. If there is anything in particular you are interested in seeing, that can be incorporated to the tour so please don't hesitate to contact me with specific requests or questions. It is mandated in Providence that masks must be worn both indoors and outdoors. I am unable to deliver a tour unless all members of your party are willing to comply with this mandate.
