Full Day Silver Falls Hike and Wine Tour

Hike the forests and waterfalls of Willamette Valley, discover the natural and cultural history of the area, and get intimate with the most renowned wine region for Pinot Noir in North America. I'll teach you about the history, terroir, and character of Willamette Valley, based on my own wine industry experience here.   In the morning, travel south of Portland as I take you through the verdant landscape of Willamette Valley, known for its hazelnuts, berries, Christmas trees, and Pinot Noir. Arrive at Silver Falls State Park, the "crown jewel" of the Oregon State Park system. We'll hike under, beneath, above, and around waterfalls along the Trail of 10 Falls, before stopping for a picnic lunch. Learn why northwest Oregon is known for waterfalls and Pinot Noir, with me. After your picnic lunch, we'll wander through the rolling hills of Willamette Valley, passing through charming little villages, making 2 stops at unique boutique wineries, and possibly a farm stand.
