After a career teaching science and math, I embarked on my journey to share my love and knowledge of Niagara Falls with visitors as a tour guide. I have been guiding tours in the Niagara Region in the US and Canada for over 30 years, and I usually do at least 1 tour every day, typically with plenty of walking regardless of using a vehicle as well. I often have people with walking disabilities on tour, which is not a problem for me since everything I propose doing is also handicap accessible. The rich history of the Mighty Niagara, as well as hidden gems like regional foods and local favourites, offer our visitors truly wonderful experiences and memories. After years of guiding large groups, I grew to prefer private tours where I can focus on a personalized experience at your way and at your pace. From the war of 1812, area folklore and legends, the history of hydro power and the Underground Railroad are topics I can discuss in depth or as highlights along the tour.

On this tour, you’ll get the once in a lifetime chances to witness a million gallons of water flowing per minute, to drive across a mile and a half long panoramic bridge on board a trolley and to cross the line between Canada and the United States sailing through a half a mile wide river. You’ll also get to visit 2 islands, and will even have the option to go down a wooden walkaway and stand on the water of the Bridal Veil Falls, on the famous Hurricane Deck (only if you don’t mind getting soaked!) I’ll also be taking you to the only place in the American side where you can stand atop the Canadian Horseshoe falls, as well as to the bottom of the Bridal Veil Falls and of the American falls (100 & 167 feet tall each, respectively). But besides breathtaking views, I’ll also share some fascinating stories of history and legends of Niagara, including some about daredevils! I’ll also tell you why the island that generated the Niagara falls is named after a goat.
•Our first stop will be Niagara Falls Visitor’s Centre, where we’ll get full day trolley passes. •We’ll then reach the observation tower, from where we’ll take the elevator down to the bottom of the falls for the best view of the American side. •Then just 200 feet below where we stepped off, we’ll board the Maid of the Mist ship, from where we’ll get to see all 3 falls in a scenic boat ride. •Later, we’ll take the elevator back up & walk 250 feet to the trolley station. •Next, we’ll take the trolley on a 2,5 mile scenic ride (most of it through a bridge) to Goat Island, where we’ll reach the top of Stedman's Bluff to overlook the Bridal Veil Falls & the American Falls from solid land. •Afterwards, we’ll walk down some stairs towards Luna Island, from where we’ll get to stand between the 2 aforementioned falls, also looking at our optional next stop (Cave of the Winds, Niagara’s 2nd most popular place) from 200 feet above. •Our last stop before returning will be Terrapin Point, atop the Horseshoe falls.

We'll meet at the Hard Rock Cafe of the American Side of the Falls. Alternatively, I could also meet you in a different location if you'd like me to join you inside your private vehicle to and from the falls.
