Waimea Canyon Highlights, a Private Tour

Aloha! If you are looking to enjoy a fantastic time exploring Kauai, join me on a private tour! I am Kate, a local Naturalist. So what is a Naturalist you ask? Someone who can get you out into Nature to enjoy Hiking, Snorkeling, Whale Watching and more! Imagine a hike to a waterfall, or a secluded beach, touring historical landmarks, and the hidden trails of Kauai all while really getting to know the place on a deeper level. A bit about me: I attended the University of Hawaii for Biology and Marine Science. I have worked for Pacific Whale Foundation with Humpback Whales, as a Coral Reef Ecologist, and a Maritime Cultural Anthropologist. I have planted thousands of koa trees and other native plants in Hakalau National Forest as a way to preserve the habitat of our inland native birds. I love to sail canoe, surf, scuba dive, and perform Hawaiian music for fun. I am passionate about being a great tour guide. I love to get to know each group of people and really give them a good experience exploring the island. I create custom tours in line with optimal weather conditions of the day and whatever special things might be happening on island. I strive to bring out the best experience possible for visitors of Kauai by sharing Aloha through music, culture, nature, food, photography, art, and interactions with great people! We can talk about anything under the sun, or nothing at all! Either way, it will be a great experience as Kauai is one of the most magical places on Earth. I can't wait to show it to you! E Komo Mai!
