Hello my name is Brad and welcome to the great state of Colorado. Colorado is truly a hidden treasure of mountain beauty, rolling meadows with all kinds of animal life such as elk, deep, mousse, and black bear, not to mention the 300 species of birds that populate our parks. Within an hour or two of Denver there are natural hot springs, mountain lakes, and panoramic views of mountain ranges. Of course you don't even have to go that far for great site seeing, hiking, biking or just walking around as the foothills are only 20 minutes from Denver. Although I am from Peoria Illinois I have lived in Colorado for over 29 years, therefore I am very close to being a native Coloradan. We locals call that being a "Semi-Native!" As a child 
 I spent 10 years in Europe and I have lived in Mexico as an adult. This experience has given me a passion for traveling as well as a desire to learn about different cultures. For these reasons I believe that I am an excellent tour guide for Denver and the rest of Colorado. Gold fever may have established Denver and brought many people out west, but today people come as it has over 300 days of sunshine, mountain biking, snow skiing and some of the best hiking in the world. The town is rich in the history of cowboys and Indians, as well as old mining towns where gold and silver were discovered. I will bring both these old cowboy stories and new ones to life. Being a guide for the Denver Colorado area, my foremost desire is to give the customer an idea of how the Old West town of Denver was formed and show the contrast in the new Denver of today. The history combined with the natural beauty of the mountains will help you fall in love with Denver and the surrounding mountains as I did many years ago. I am extremely flexible and if you need to tweak a tour I have the ability to customize my tours. In addition if you have more than five people I can get access to a larger vehicle and thus I could handle a much larger group. My vehicule is a SUV that is commercially insured and licenced. PUC certification is required to drive paying passengers in the state. All commercial vehicules that carry paid passagers are required to have commercial insurance in Colorado. I have the requiered PUV certification along with the specialized commercial insurance. Discover why Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park are some of the most visited areas of the nation. Rocky Mountain National Park abounds with natural beauty. Up close we will explore some of the majestic clear lakes. From Trail Ridge Road, far above the valleys, one often can see the abundant animal life that exists in the Park. The Park features rugged snow peaks most of the year with small snow glaciers. My friends and I have hiked many a trail in the park and close to the town of Lyons. There are many animals and fountains to admire and the views from the road often leave people in awe of the beauty. Estes Park is a picturesque town that overlooks Estes Lake. The town features many quaint boutique stores and has a very colorful history with such notable hotels such as the Stanley Hotel. Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park are always a delight to visit. I would love to show you the beauty of these parks along with the interesting history, stories and colorful characters of the parks.

My wife and I had a great tour of Rocky Mountain National Park with Brad. He picked us up at our hotel in downtown Denver, stopped for a quick snack and coffee in Boulder, and drove through Estes Park before entering RMNP. Brad knew the best places to stop for photo ops and was very knowledgeable about the park. We traveled the entire length of Trail Ridge Road from the Estes Park entrance to the Grand Lake entrance. He took us through Grand Lake which we thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend Brad if you’re looking for a knowledgeable guide to take you through the park.

Excellent tour and tour guide! Brad was not only very knowledgeable about the Rocky Mountains but also a very professional tour guide and careful driver. Because we had booked a bit later and June is a very busy month, he had to make a second effort to get us an earlier park entry and a pass to the beautiful Bear Lake area - this he did without any prompting by us. The tour was 9 hours and Brad juggled the viewing, bio & meal breaks, and driving time perfectly. He gracefully accomodated the obsessive photographers in our group of 4 and patiently answered the questions in the overly curious among us :-). I was quite astonished that he could do this day after day and yet maintain such a high standard. I recommend him and the tour without reservation.

Excellent tour. Brad fully understood what we wanted to see what we were physically capable of seeing given the weather and our age. He took us to places where we could appreciate the magnificence of our Rocky Mountains. He is personally a low-key easy to get along with gentleman. We much enjoyed our trip.

Brad is an excellent tour guide—a safe driver, knowledgsble, careful attention to the comfort of his passengers. My 10 year old loved it, and he and his father now have lifetime memories of elk, alluvial fans, and snowcapped mountains. Not to mention The Stanley Hotel! Thank you!

Your Denver tour itinerary

Stops may included the below stops but are not limited to them. Please note that Rocky Mountain National Park has now implemented timed reservations. To avoid a reservation we may have to leave Denver by 6:15 am or a little earlier. Most of the time I can get a timed entry beforehand. - Denver downtown Hotel pick up, drive to Estes Park. - Arrive in Estes Park and proceed to Rocky Mountain Park and enter by 8:00 am) -Do a small hike in the area of the aluvial fan. - Take Trail Ridge Road and visit various sites and pull over areas. The drive may take two to three hours or more as there are many picturesque sites that we will stop at, such as the Lava Cliffs, as well as other cliffs and mountain ranges along the way. Lunch at the summit or perhaps a later lunch in Estes Park. Visit the Stanley Hotel where Stephen King was inspired to write his famous novel "The Shining" - Arrive in Estes Park where you can enjoy shopping and strolling through the town. - Leave Estes Park. - Return to Denver.

The clients will be transported in a new 2022 Kia Telluride that has three rows of seating. The Telluride has leather seats, air conditioning, a sunroof and a moon roof in the back for the children if needed on long drives. I have my commercial insurance and PUC certification which is required by the state of Colorado for any commercial use of vehicle.
