Ullapool and the North West of Scotland

We were blown away by the care Bob took to make sure we had a great day. From the moment we met him we knew we were going to have a fantastic time. The van was stocked with water, snacks, chargers, and midgie (insect) repellant which was the best thing EVER! We were able to customize our day and see much more than any of the tours offered by our cruise ship. Bob knew the history of the area well and told us all about the things he was showing us. As a bonus he was dressed in a traditional Scottish outfit that made us feel like we were in Scotland. We can't begin to say enough good things about our day with Bob.

We have a wonderful tour with Bob. Not only did he meet us in full kilt dress but the vehicle was large, clean and comfortable. Bob is delightfully personable and kind. The tour itself covered some beautiful countryside. We had stops at Ardvreck Castle ruins with a wonderful view of the lake. Lots of interesting facts on Ullapool were shared on our leisurely drive. The white sand beach of Achmelvich was stunning. A short hike to the top of the hill and views of the Atlantic Ocean were spectacular. Bob never rushed us even though we had a deadline back to the ship. He confidently guided us back on time. We would highly recommend him for this tour and others. He was happy to accommodate suggestions prior to the booking and was a great communicator as we finalized our activity. Thank you, Bob.

Despite a very limited amount of time in Ullapool and the surrounding area, we had a lovely time with Bob. We visited a brilliant art gallery and took a lovely drive up Scotland's "Route 66" through the beautiful Assynt Hills. It was a wonderful afternoon and we would highly recommend!

Bob was absolutely superb. During our two week cruise to many ports, he was by far our favorite guide. Starting in Portree, he was able to help us see everything in the northern part of the Isle of Skye we wanted. He did it with knowledge, wit, safety and good humor. Highly recommend!
