Hello! My name is Florence and I would be thrilled to host you on a tour. I have lived and worked in Bristol for 17 years and I LOVE this city and the stunning countryside around us. My great passion is food. I have been working in food for over a decade, with a focus on local and sustainable food systems, as well as education and communication. I'm passionate about excellent food and drink, and thinking about how we can produce this in such a way that is nourishing for our souls and our planet. We are spoilt for choice in Bristol and North Somerset for incredible produce, restaurants, bars and more. I love nothing more than sharing these fantastic stories and flavours, and my knowledge and passion about food, farming and flavour. I have been hosting food and drink tours in the area for two years. My tours are fun, informal and informative. As well, as enjoying amazing food and drink, you'll have the opportunity to explore this amazing part of the world and I'll share local history and insights along the way. I know great spots for music and art, the best bars, beautiful walks and more. Here's what a few happy customers have to say! Such an epic Bristol food tour! Florence brings such great energy. Fun, friendly, informative, delicious.... Brilliantly well organised and Florence was a great host and chauffeur. The venues were all fascinating and well chosen and we thoroughly enjoyed our day. Had a wonderful afternoon on a tour with Florence, she is a very engaging person who holds the attention of her audience with her knowledge and information and has very high ethical standards when it comes to food production. She obviously does her research well and knows so much about not only the venues she takes you to which are all independent and use locally source ingredients but also about Bristol itself. So unique and a really fun way to spend an afternoon.

Join me for a fun, indulgent food and drink tour through the Old City of Bristol. We'll stop at some well-known Bristol legends and seek out some of the city's hidden treasures. At each stop, you'll have the chance to sample some amazing local food (Indian street food, pie, cake and much more…) or taste some delectable drinks (there'll be coffee, smoothies and cocktails). Each of our stops is a business with a story to tell. We select the Bristol independents that are doing things right, and you'll hear these stories along the way. We'll make 6 or 7 stops, and you'll leave satiated and satisfied! Along the way, your host will also point out some great spots to visit, for food, music and culture, point out sites of interest in the city and share some knowledge about the city's fascinating history. You'll also have 20 minutes free to explore the wonderful St Nicholas' Market. If you would prefer a customised tour that focuses on some of the city's amazing fine dining options, please enquire!
