In order to be tour guide in Turkey, you should work really hard, study at the university and you should be succesfull in several exams. When I got my licence, my dream came true. Because I decided to be a tour guide when I was 11 years old. In 14 years, after I started to be quiet experienced tour guide because of my passion. I used to work all around my country but I decided to be a specialist of a certain region and I chose North Aegean part . You can find whatever you look for on the Northwestern part of Turkey. The highlights of the region are Gallipoli battlefields, Troy, Assos and Pergamon. They are all full of with the history, mythology and natural beauty. Because of the strategic importance of the region, there were two important wars between the west and the east, One was 104 years ago, the Gallipoli Campaign and the other one was the Trojan War nearly 3200 years ago, People always interest in both wars as they were mentioned in the history all the time, When you come to visit all these sites, you are going to see that the things that you had already known are missing. We had the most interesting day with Ercan. His knowledge, passion and insights bought the history of Gallipoli to life for us in a way that was truly memorable. For a histopry that really requires days, Ercan did an amazing job in the small amount of time we had. We really appreciate the way he threaded plain facts with fascinating insightes from primary sources. We cannot recommend him highly enough.

Ercan was amazing! We were advised by a friend to book a private Turkish guide to tour the battlegrounds to get a balanced viewpoint (we are Australian) and Ercan didn’t disappoint. Communication was awesome and from the moment Ercan hopped in our car he started giving us historical information. You can tell he has a thirst for knowledge and not only provided us with the best experience but recommended a number of books to further expand ours. Gallipoli was a bucket list for us and Ercan made the experience even more memorable. Could not recommend more highly
This was a 6-7 hour tour of the Gallipoli battlefields for our family of six adults. Ercan was efficient, knowledgeable and had everything well organized. He gave us both general overviews and more particular stories of events which made what we had read and heard before make sense. Our trip was of New Zealand sites in particular, as we requested, but covered much more of the overall situationas well. Ercan is a thorough professional with an easy friendly manner. We can recommend him highly.

Ercan is a wonderful guide. His knowledge of and passion for the battle fields is exceptional. We could not have had the same experience in a group tour. Lest we forget the fallen allies and troops.
