This special tour is available from November 27 until 17 December. It is a combination of Basel's old town and the seasonal offerings. Here where the borders of France, Germany and Switzerland is a city that transforms into a Christmas wonderland. Considered one of the top Christmas Markets in Europe. The tour includes a visit to the markets at Barfusserplatz and Münsterplatz. Where you will find many of the Swiss traditional items of the season. Join me as we tour through the heart of Basel, containing a mix of medieval buildings and modern Swiss architecture. You'll hear about the city's legends, its history, and the people who shaped it. Along the way we will see some of the 155 stalls offering a variety of food, drink and products. You'll also find out about the city's reputation for art and humanism, starting with the publishing industry in the 1400s, and proudly continuing today with the international Art Basel.
