As my grandfather used to say: "We live in the yolk of the egg", situation, communications, a temperate weather. Reus beside Tarragona is a very alive town, was the second city in Catalonia during the 1800s and early 1900s. Whimsical palaces, factories, hospitals, houses… a very renown commercial area. Known for the motto "Reus, Paris and London" as the price of schnapps was put in these three places. Since I graduated in Tourism studies I have been in the tourism world. Among all my job experiences, I am very proud of having been from the start in 3 outstanding projects that today are giving international credit to the Tarragona land: A Pedagogic Program in the Ebre River Natural Park, The Golf Club Bonmont, and The Thematic Park Port Aventura. The Monastery of Santa Maria d'Escaladei was founded in the 12th century by Alfonso the Chaste with French Carthusian monks who followed the order of Sant Bru de Colonia, and was the first Carthusian monastery in the Iberian Peninsula, from which the other Catalan Carthusians arose. .
