I have the pleasure of introducing myself as your tour guide in the Tarragona area. The land of pure mediterraneity: olive oil, vineyards, blue skies and green pine trees! Culture and Nature. Gate of the romans, settlement of Cistercian monasteries, and cradle of renown personalities: Politicians, musicians and artists as the genius Antoni Gaudi, the famous architect of La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, the last big church under construction. Worldwide! Come over and you will have a peaceful promenade through history, between sea and mountains. Here you can enjoy all kind of artistic styles from roman constructions built 2000 years ago: circus, amphitheater, aqueducts. Medieval churches, cathedrals and villages. And delightful constructions of Art Nouveau. I was born and I live in Reus, as my ancestors did for generations, some of them with outstanding roles in ruling the town from the city council and the chamber of commerce. As my grandfather used to say: "We live in the yolk of the egg", situation, communications, a temperate weather. Reus beside Tarragona is a very alive town, was the second city in Catalonia during the 1800s and early 1900s. Whimsical palaces, factories, hospitals, houses… a very renown commercial area. Known for the motto "Reus, Paris and London" as the price of schnapps was put in these three places. Since I graduated in Tourism studies I have been in the tourism world. Among all my job experiences, I am very proud of having been from the start in 3 outstanding projects that today are giving international credit to the Tarragona land: A Pedagogic Program in the Ebre River Natural Park, The Golf Club Bonmont, and The Thematic Park Port Aventura.
