Viewing wildlife at Addo Elephant National Park with Thentic - half-day tour. This safari is for a duration of up to 4 1/2 hours (morning or afternoon) on a guided tour in the Addo National Park. , home of not only the BIG 5 but the BIG 7. Highlights include herds of elephants, lions, buffalos, zebras, antelopes, birds and a whole lot more fauna and flora spread across 45 000 hectares. One stop for refreshments and bathroom is provided for. Addo and Addo Elephant National Park has been my home for over 15years now. I fell in love with this area from the beginning as I followed the history of the area, the culture of the people and the wildlife that occur around it. Chen was absolutely the best tour guide. Not only did we have a fabulous tour of the Addo elelphant park, Chen was so resourceful and kind to take me and arrange the appointment with a local dentist for an unexpected dental emergency. I have used Tour guides all over the world, but this tour with Chen was definitely one of my favorites! He was charming, very polite and incredibly knowledgable about Addo Elephant Park. He knew precisely where to take us for the maximum viewing and shared fascinating information about the animals' lifestyles and habits. About 600 elephants live in the reserve and we counted and saw about 100! A highlight was when Chen set up a picnic lunch for us in the park! And it was delicious! Highly reccomend Chen!

We especially enjoyed our Addo Elephant National Park tour with Chenjerayi. He was very knowledgeable of the park and the animals. There were four of us traveling together and he accommodated us very nicely. He is quite an interesting person and we felt like we got a better sense of the people from South Africa. He unpacked quite a nice snack spread for us including a table cloth. This tour was far superior to the ones offered by the cruise line. You can't beat up close and personal.

Pick up from accommodation, Addo, Port Elizabeth including the Cruiseship Terminal. - 25 minutes drive to the South Entrance of the Addo Elephant National Park. - A bathroom stop at the Park's reception. - Inside the Elephant National Park. - A drive through the Thicket Vegetation, water holes and plains in the park, game viewing from the comfort of a high clearance vehicle with big windows for perfect photographing. - A stop either at a picnic spot or lookout point for recess, snacks, and refreshments. Here, adventurers have the opportunity to step out of the vehicle to take pictures and catch a fresh breeze. - Last drive through the park as adventurers head to the exit of the National Park.
