Hi :) My name is Michal and I am graduated in political science. Beside working in the travel industry I like sport and all types of outdoor activities like hiking or riding a bicycle. Since 2007, I have been working as a tour guide in Wroclaw/Poland. It is funny because I have never planned to do it and it came by chance. Anyway, it is a great work which I enjoy a lot. I like it because there is no routine and every day is different. I have a chance to meet great people from all over the world and learn something from them. I also like the fact that I can help them to understand polish history and everyday life which sometimes is very complicated. Wroclaw - the city where I mostly work - is so amazing that it is a pure pleasure to walk around and show it to visitors. I also take people to the countryside to visit some castles, churches or just to hike. What I like the most is to do WW2 and communism tours. My background in political science helps me a lot to give clear explanations about the last 80 years of history. I also love to do "nostalgic tours" where I help visitors to visit areas they were born or their family came from. If you like historical places with nice architecture you should come here. I am looking forward to meet you here :) Working as a tour guide in Wroclaw/Poland since 2007.

Overview of your Wroclaw tour

Wroclaw is on of those cities in Europe which have experienced both dictatorships: nazist's and communists'. Until end of WW2 it was one of the biggest German cities and you can still see many german signs on our buildings. On this tour you will see the most interesting parts of the city but our story will focus on Nazi era and WW2 in the city. I will be very happy to answer your questions about the past and present times. Everything in relaxed and friendly atmosphere!

Michal's depth of knowledge, style of communication and warm personality made this tour a memorable one! Many of the historical facts, commentaries and stories shared truly captivated my heart. At times I even felt like I was living in the past. Thank you Michal for opening my eyes to new perspectives!

Michal was a great guide for our family. He is high energy, full of stories, and very entertaining. We walked all around the old town and more, learned a lot and had fun. He was also quite flexible and accommodating, as we drove into town late and he let us delay our start time so we could eat a quick lunch.

We really had an excellent tour (in English) with Michal who was very knowledgeable and interesting. As WW2 history buffs we learned a lot. I highly recommend this walking tour in a very beautiful and vibrant city.

Michal provided a very enjoyable & interesting tour. He displayed a deep knowledge of the City and it's history and highlighted key points that reflected our particular interest in events surrounding the impact of WWII & it's immediate aftermath. I would not hesitate to recommend a tour provided by Michal.

One of the best guides we have ever got worldwide. Very friendly and motivated. The tour was really personalised and exciting. He has also a lot of geopolitical knowledge, so even if you know the topic, there will be a lot of new informations. Definitely the Best Guide in Wroclaw. Thanx a lot Michal and see you by our next tour in Poland:)
