Hi :) My name is Michal and I am graduated in political science. Beside working in the travel industry I like sport and all types of outdoor activities like hiking or riding a bicycle. Since 2007, I have been working as a tour guide in Wroclaw/Poland. It is funny because I have never planned to do it and it came by chance. Anyway, it is a great work which I enjoy a lot. I like it because there is no routine and every day is different. I have a chance to meet great people from all over the world and learn something from them. I also like the fact that I can help them to understand polish history and everyday life which sometimes is very complicated. Wroclaw - the city where I mostly work - is so amazing that it is a pure pleasure to walk around and show it to visitors. I also take people to the countryside to visit some castles, churches or just to hike. What I like the most is to do WW2 and communism tours. My background in political science helps me a lot to give clear explanations about the last 80 years of history. I also love to do "nostalgic tours" where I help visitors to visit areas they were born or their family came from. If you like historical places with nice architecture you should come here. I am looking forward to meet you here :) Working as a tour guide in Wroclaw/Poland since 2007.

Wroclaw is still undiscovered tourist destination in Poland which means that you can still experience there the real life of Polish people. Wroclaw has an amazing and for many still undiscovered history and that's the reason why you should hire a good guide to really get to know the place. On the tour you will be able to see majority of interesting buildings and places. You will get best stories and I will be very happy to answer your questions about the past and present times. Everything in relaxed and friendly atmosphere!
Usually I meet tourists at their hotel or appartment but the best is to start at Monopol Hotel. Some tour details might depend on personal preferences but we usually visit: - Cathedral Island with John the Baptiste Cathedral - Sand Island - Market Hall - possible coffe break - Nankiera Square - Ossolinski Institute - University Church - Wroclaw University - Wiezienna Street - Jatki - butcher street - Hansel and Grattel houses - St Elisabeth Church - Rynek - main square If we still have time we can visit: - Salt Square - Jewish Quarter - Wolności Square It is a walking tour and it takes maximum 3h.
