I am Mary Grace, a licensed local and accredited tour guide of Department of Tourism here in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan. Our City is hailed as the cleanest and greenest City in the Country due to the combined efforts of the locals to preserve the beauty of our place. It is also home to one of new seven wonders of Nature - Puerto Princesa Underground River which is very famous for it's longest navigable underground river with some of the most iconic rock formations that is truly a wonder of nature. The northern part of Palawan is famous for having El Nido which houses some of the nicest beach and clearest lagoons in the country. During off-season in the island, I usually join trips conducted by my colleagues to further enhance my knowledge about the place I live in. I love to see the beach, explore places and taste local delicacies produced by the different towns of our province. This gives me new ideas and insights on what to add to to the experience of my travelers. Overview of your Puerto Princesa tour
This tour showcases some historical and cultural sites within Puerto Princesa city. Guests will go visit the Iwahig Prison and Penal farm to see the handicrafts made by inmates. A visit to the butterfly garden and tribal village will give them a short encounter with our indigenous people called Palaw'an. Another local experience is the weaving center where visitors can see local handloom weaving. The world war 2 museum and plaza cuartel will give guests of a glimpse of what transpired in Palawan during the world war 2 and the cathedral showcases the major religion present in the city.

Grace was absolutely wonderful, she took us to all the great spots, high on my list of favourites was the open air prison and of course roady Red horses!! We had such a great tour with Mary Grace as our tour guide. She’s meticulous, punctual, professional, knowledgeable and helpful. By the end of the 4 hour tour in a very comfortable air-conditioned van, the four of us came away with a deep understanding of Puerto Princesa where we haven’t been before, as well as Palawan. Our driver AJ drove safely amid very heavy traffic and ensured that we reached our destinations on time. All in all a great and perfect visit to yet another beautiful Philippines island!
