Hello my name is Junalyn, you can simply call me Jo. I am a licensed and Philippine Department of Tourism accredited local tour guide from Puerto Princesa City, Palawan. I have been a licensed local tour guide since I finished my college degree in 2009. My more than a decade-long experience of handling and relating to travelers from different parts of the world enabled me to be well-versed in delivering customized and private tours in Puerto Princesa and other parts of Palawan. My province has been a famous tour destination worldwide for years due to its several international recognition. It has been named as the best island in the world by famous websites and magazines for many years. This is because Palawan features pristine beaches, unique islands, natural rock formations, rich marine life, vibrant lagoons and gorgeous landscapes, among others, as its major tourist attractions. These are complimented with the kindest and most hospitable people who are very disciplined too! I am blessed to call Puerto Princesa, Palawan my home while others dream of it as a vacation destination. Our City is hailed as the cleanest and greenest City in the country due to the combined efforts of the locals and the government to preserve and conserve the beauty of our place. It is also home to one the New 7 Natural Wonders of the World - the Puerto Princesa Underground River that is very famous for its longest navigable underground river with some of the most unique and iconic rock formations that is make it truly a wonder of nature. The northern part of Palawan is where you can find the world-famous El Nido which boasts several of the nicest beaches and clearest lagoons in the country, if not in the world. Having visited and experienced many tour spots in Puerto Princesa and province of Palawan, both off-beaten spots and regular tourist destinations, made me confident in designing and customizing tours according to guests' needs. Further, during off-season in the island, I usually spend my free time in joining trips conducted by my colleagues to further enhance my knowledge about other interesting places within the province I live in. Overview of your Puerto Princesa tour

Honda bay island hopping tour is a tour designed for beach and island lovers. Only 45 minutes of land travel to reach honda bay port and guests will ride Filipino motorized boat called banca to explore the nearby islands. We will make our first stop in starfish island for swimming and snorkeling, then proceed to Luli Island for another swimming and picture taking in the sandbar and final stop is cowrie island for swimming, relaxing or simply sightseeing while having cold beer. Picnic lunch will be provided in one of the islands. After the tour, guests will be taken back to their pickup points.

Junelyn gave us a wonderful island hopping tour of Honda Bay in Puerto Princesa. We were able to visit 3 beautiful islands and snorkeled at 2 of them. She arranged a private boat for our group of 4 and also arranged rental of snorkel gear, including full-face masks that we loved. And Junelyn prepared a huge feast for us on Cowrie Island. It was beautiful to look at and tasted delicious. It was wonderful to let someone else handle all the logistics so that we could just enjoy the day. Would definitely recommend!

This was a Great Tour. Junalyn gives the best tours in Palawan. The tour included some Great Snorkeling and a private feast on Starfish Island. This was my first time eating fish the way they prepare it in Palawan. It was truly delicious. I am sorry for this late review, but I got so busy enjoying myself in The Philippines that I just forgot.

Wow, what a terrific guide and team. Not only did we get first rate traditional boat (with lots of shade) and snorkeling, the lunch was excellent and plentiful with variety to choose. The best were our friendly and attentive guide with excellent English and the very kind boat captain and deckhand. We had transport from the cruise port and back. My mom, a senior, was helped during the snorkeling and felt very safe. Because of their help, she was able to see many more fish and loved it. Thank you!

Sample itinerary which is fully customizable: - Pickup from Seaport/Airport/Hotel - Arrival in Honda Bay Port/Registration/Queue for Boat ride - Estimated Boarding time (depends on volume of guests, earlier start time is better) - Starfish Island - Luli Island - Cowrie Island - End of Tour - Back to Honda Bay Port - Back to Seaport/Airport/Hotel Stay time in each island depends on the guests, above timing is just suggestion only. It depends on how long the cruise ship stays for shore excursion guests. For guests staying the city, above timings is flexible. Bring: Sunblock, snorkels, water shoes, extra water, personal medicines and other personal needs. Traffic and sea conditions might affect tour itinerary and islands to be visited. Advise for islands to be visited in given by Philippine Coast Guards on the day of the tour. If starfish island is restricted, pambato reef might be the replacement stop if allowed by the coastguards. Otherwise, longer stay in Luli and Cowrie island will be the alternative.
