Escape to the stunning oasis of Wadi Shab, where turquoise pools and dramatic mountains create the perfect adventure getaway. Enjoy a scenic 2-hour coastal drive from Muscat before a short boat ride into the canyon. Hike through the breathtaking wadi with opportunities to swim, jump into crystal-clear waters, and explore hidden natural beauty. On the return journey, visit the spectacular Bimmah Sinkhole, a striking limestone crater filled with blue-green water, before heading back to Muscat. Important Note: Wear comfortable clothes, hiking or running shoes, extra clothes, towel and suntan lotion. Bring along drinking water during hike. Not suitable for: •During Summer months of May - August •Children under 12 years & Elderly guests with limited mobility • People with health conditions or those not fit for hiking under sun exposure
Yasser is a trustable guide, that is always looking for taking duly care of us. Very polite and also very flexible adapting the tour accordingly to our wills. At last minute, we asked to be followed by some friends in their own car, and Yasser accepted it without any problems. The tour was very interesting and Yasser drove us safely into the mountains using off-road ways.
Yasser took me on a very adventurous drive through the mountains with a 4 wheel drive car. It was very exciting and something I would not have been able to do any other way. He drove nearly 250km for the day, mostly motorway but some through the mountains on dirt and stony roads even through streams and also to other sites such as the new fish market. He explained much to me about Omani life. I learned a lot about the unique terrain from the wadis we drove through. I had a very worthwhile experience.
