Muscat City Tour begins with a visit of the majestic Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, a religious landmark of Muscat and splendor of unique Islamic architecture (Ladies should cover their head with a scarf and wear long-sleeved clothes. Men should wear long trousers and t-shirt with sleeves, the mosque is closed on Friday). We continue to traditional Muttrah Souq, which is a great opportunity to buy frankincense, gold, silver, perfume and many other souvenirs. Enjoy the drive along the beautiful Corniche to old Muscat for a photo stop at Al Alam Palace. On the way back to the hotel, we stop for a picture at the Royal Opera House. Reminder: Prepare an Oman rial cash to buy stuff, drinks and snacks.
What a pleasure to visit Muscat with Yasser! He is knowledgeable, flexible and a truly kind person. His introduction and patient explanations of the history and culture of Oman opened our hearts and minds, making our stay even more memorable. I highly recommend him for both short and multi-day tours.
I enjoyed the tour. Guide was friendly and flexible and communicated well pre arrival. We covered the major sites in about 3 hours. His English was perfectly good and he knew his stuff. I enjoyed spending the time with him .
We only had 1.5 days in Muscat, and Yasser did a great job showing us around the highlights. He was also very flexible when we had a schedule change and helped us learn how special and wonderful Oman is. I highly recommend Yasser.
Yasser Was an amazing guide and a true gentleman. Knowledge and was happy to explain history & culture as well as showing us the amazing sites of the old city in Muscat -100% recommended as the guy was brilliant. Has a good taste in classic cars as well
Visiting the Grand Mosque is a must as well as the National Museum in Muscat. Yasser made this a most enjoyable day with his knowledge of the city. He does not go with you in the market unless you ask, but everyone should know how to bargain.
We did a 4 hour tour around Muscat with Yasser. He was a great knowledgeable guide with a witty sense of humour. He picked us up at our hotel and dropped us at the airport. I would highly recommend him .
