One of the best places to start being in contact with the Mayan culture and admire the Caribbean Sea in all its splendor and swim in crystal waters. The ruins of this Mayan city of the post-classic period (1200-1521 AD) are perhaps the loveliest of the continent because of its location along the spectacular Caribbean. A wall protects a large rectangular enclosure with pyramids, temples and foundations, some of which are on the edge of the cliffs. Tulum is a small place but wonderful to see, here, I will show you the paintings and decoration of the temples as well as the history behind them.
