Since I can remember, I have been traveling around my country, México, and I've developed a big love and pride for this beautiful place! My Mom is from Mexico City and my first 25 years I spent them there, but my Dad is from the south east of Mexico, the Yucatan Peninsula. All my childhood we used to travel there and visit my grandma and the rest of the family. I remember we tryed to trvel each vacations we could, easter, summer, Christmas and new year and alway traveling by car, so we were visiting a lot beautiful places and diferent landscapes on the way. Now I want to share my joy with you and be your host and guide during your visit. It's very important for me to help visitors experience México the way a local would. Degree in Tourism Business Administration at UVM (Universidad del Valle de México school) Degree in General Tourist Guide at ENAH (National Institute of Anthropology and History)and certified as Tour Guide in Spanish, French and English. Punta Laguna is a mayan town but also a protected area of flora and fauna where the spider monkeys and howler monkeys live. We will hike in the jungle to try to find the monkeys and at the same time we will participate in a mayan ceremony and we could do a zipeline and canoe on the lagoon. The cenote Esmeralda is located in an small maya village and the families let us swim in it and we can learn about how Mayans live today. At Tres Reyes, we will meet the mayan family Canul, they invite us to their house and teach us how to prepare tortillas, the condiment they use and yes, we will have lunch with them.
-Pick you up in your hotel or Airbnb. -Drive, depending on where is located your hotel, between 1:30hrs to 2:30 hrs to arrive to Punta Laguna, the natural reserve of spider monkeys. -Start hiking on the jungle to participate in a mayan ceremony, do the zipe line and look for the monkeys.
