The state of Queretaro has some interesting places where wine is produced. One of the most important wineries to visit in the area is Freixenet. In this place you will learn about the production of the local wines, which include red, rosé and white. The specialty of the house are the sparkling wines, and at the end of the tour, we will have a tasting of this wine. In the cheese factory you will have an explanation of how cheeses are made, and we will have a tasting as well. . The state of Queretaro has some beautiful small towns where you can feel a special atmosphere when you visit these places. Bernal and Tequisquiapan, which are the towns we'll see, are two good examples of this.

We had the opportunity to have Aaron as our guide on both of our tours. The first tour was San Miguel de Allende & Canada de la Virgen archaeological site and the second tour was a wine and cheese tour and walking tour of Queretero. Aaron was amazing and so classy. I really enjoyed his vast knowledge of the history of each site and his deep love for his country. He was also very accommodating with our schedule and tailored it to fit our needs. Aaron was a great tour guide! He picked us up at our house and took us to Bernal, Tequis, wine tasting and to a cheese tasting. He knows so much of the history of Queretaro and the surrounding area. Aaron took us on the wine and cheese tour July 26th. He arrived promptly in his nice Nissan 4 door. He is an excellent driver and explains all the sites and interesting things as we drove around. We visited Bernal, Freixenet winery, Tequisquiapan (for an excellent lunch) and artisan shops. Finally we went to the cheese factory and tasted cheeses. Aaron's english was excellent and he made sure we had a great tour. He certainly deserves all the good reviews people have given him!
