Mexico City is within the biggest cities in the world and in its down town you can admire some of the most important buildings such as the main square "Zocalo", the old aztec temple "Templo Mayor" or the Metropolitan Cathedral. You can also see the changes that Mexico City has had through the ages, since Aztec times, the Spanish period to modern age. Walk by interesting and historic buildings, look at their fascinating arquitecture and see part of the culture that has been inherited through the years. You will learn a lot of Mexican history and will have a great time. Museums and some buildings are closed on Mondays.
