Hello! I’m Carlo, a local guide born and raised in the heart of Mexico City. My passion for this city and its history led me to create unique experiences for travelers who want to go beyond the surface and truly understand our culture. What sets my tours apart is not only my knowledge of the city, but also my love for sharing it with others. For me, travel is about connection — with people, places, stories, and traditions. Growing up here, I’ve always been fascinated by Mexico City’s contrasts, where ancient civilizations meet modern life. My goal is to help travelers decode these layers of history while enjoying the food, architecture, and art that make this city so special. Each tour is tailored for every kind of traveler. Discover the colorful spirit of southern Mexico City on this immersive journey through Xochimilco and Coyoacán. Begin your day gliding through the ancient canals of Xochimilco aboard a traditional trajinera, surrounded by music, floating gardens, and vibrant local life. Then, continue to the charming neighborhood of Coyoacán, where cobblestone streets, colonial architecture, and artistic heritage create a unique atmosphere. Stroll through lively plazas, explore local markets, and experience the authentic rhythm of one of the city’s most beloved districts—all while enjoying a carefully selected local lunch along the way.

Great Guide. Super Nice Guy. It exceeded our expectations. Very flexible and works hard to please you.
During our stay in CDMX, we had the pleasure of having Carlo as our tour guide for our third tour. If I ever return to the city, I would definitely choose him again for any new destinations. Carlo truly knows how to make the experience unforgettable and enjoyable. Our tour to Xochimilco Canals and Coyoacán was fantastic. Upon arrival, we had our private trajinera/boat reserved, and we had the freedom to choose how much time we wanted to spend on the boat (you pay extra for this). We spent a delightful 3 hours on the boat, with a brief stop on an island that we didn’t even realize was happening. Carlo was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and nature of the area, including birds and plants. After lunch, we took a stroll through the Coyoacán market and historic center. The entire tour was a great experience, and my family thoroughly enjoyed it.
Carlo was a great conversationalist. He took us to some of his favorite spots for lunch and ice cream. He was also helpful in the market when we said we were looking for specific types of items because he knew which booths would have them. We tried to go to the University campus but it was surprisingly closed for the holiday. Carlo did a nice job of improvising. He has a lot of knowledge about the history and culture, especially how the different cultures have interacted. Notes: He picks you up wherever you are staying which is super nice. It's in the description, but a reminder that you pay for the boat yourself
Carlo was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide. He was also flexible with and took us to the most wonderful Diego Rivera murals!
This tour was a very relaxing and enjoyable boat ride down the Unnesco World Heritage Xochimilco canals in a colorful trajinera. We also learned about the axoloti that used to live in the canals but are now endangered. I highly recommend our tour guide, Carlo, who is just a pleasure to have as a tour guide. He is professional, knowledgeable , fun, polite and respectful.
