I was born on a ranch at the foot of the mountains of the sierra de La Laguna, I spent most of my childhood without electricity or running water, but I had a very happy childhood. my mother and my grandmother taught me to interpret the desert and live the ranch life as my father taught me how to interpret the sea and how to behave with the tourists at the waterfront hotel where he used to work. I think the profession of tour guide is a powerful tool to entertain, educate and protect our historical, natural and cultural heritage. - certified as a tour guide specialized in nature by the Tourism ministry of Mexico (SECTUR) - Cultural Heritage and conservation principles issued by National Institute of Antropology and History of Mexico (INAH) - Enviromental Education course issued by the San Diego Natural History Museum and Secretary of Public Education of Mexico (SEP) - "Knowledge and interpretation of the cultural and natural environment" issued by University of BCS (UABCS) - Leave No Trace certification course issued by Nols and LNT - First Aid and CPR issued by the Red Cross - Wilderness First Responder (WFR) issued by Wilderness Medicine Institute - sailing educators course issued by NOLS (National Outdoor Leadership School) - small boat sailor certification course issued by US Sailing Association - Degree in Marine aquaculture I am not the driver but I'll arrange private transportation depending on the group size.

The area of Loreto has many different ecosystems that are the habitat of a wide variety of birds: estuaries, beaches, desert, oasis and canyons. Here you will be able to watch some residents and migratory birds including some endemic species, like the endemics yellow footed gull and Xantus hummingbird, the residents Gray thrasher, vermillion flycatcher, and 50 more residents, migrants and vagrant birds.

Rodofo is very knowledgeable about the birds of Baja California and is friendly and engaging. We had a general interest in the area birds but wanted specifically to see a couple endemics. Rodolfo knew right where to find them. We had a very pleasant morning and highly recommend this tour with Rodolfo.
Rodolfo was an excellent guide! He was informative without being overbearing and made our birdwatching trip very enjoyable. We are more casual birders, and it was a perfect pace it’s several different sites and lots of different birds. As in at least 40 different kinds. It was so much fun and would cover any subject. I highly recommend him. He also took us to the San Javier mission in his knowledge was outstanding. Thanks for showing us your countryside.
Rodolfo Palacios was a terrific bird guide. We went to several locations and saw a variety of birds, during our half-day tour. He was knowledgeable and helped us "get" our nemesis bird, the Snowy Plover! We saw the birds that are endemic to the area, the Xantus hummingbird, the Gray Thrasher, and the Yellow-footed gull and many others. A total of 53 species for the morning.
Rodolfo is an excellent guide who took us to the best birding spots around Loreto. He knew most birds by call and found more species than we excepted. We are avid birders who know our stuff and he helped us get good birds here. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who wants a good birding experience
I can’t recommend Rodolfo’s Bird Watching Tour highly enough. He is such a kind, gentle, lovely, patient, generous guide who knows so much about the birds here. We saw and learned so much with him and it was a highlight of our trip. Thank you!!
