Laguna Bacalar is a wonderfull natural place. Kayaking is one of the best choices to get to know the lake and take care of it. Let me show you how beautiful it is. History is one of my passions. A great opportunity to combine a trek through the jungle and a kayak tour of majestic Laguna Bacalar. Walk through the tropical jungle and have close contact with nature… the trees have Mayan legends to tell you! Have you seen the famous chicle (gum) tree? Discover the many exotic species of this region. Delight your palate with regional tropical fruits! Weave your way through mangrove roots and observe the creatures that inhabit them. While gliding over warm tropical waters in your kayak, you'll be amazed at the unreal colors of the Laguna de Bacalar
Your Bacalar tour itinerary
- We meet and begin the tour at 8 am. - We take a 20 minutes trip to get to our destination, next to Laguna Bacalar. - Arriving to the site we take a 30 minutes walk, being in contact with nature, observing some plants an animals of Bacalar. We can harvest tropical fruits. - 10 minutes for toilets. - Everyone to the water! Time for kayaking. We'll be in the lake for 2 and a half hours. Paddling, swimming, enjoying and relaxing. - 10 minutes for toilets. - Back on the road to get back to the meeting point.
