I will take you to the Penang Hill by funicular train to go up to the Hill, it's 830 meters above the sea level. It takes about 15 minutes to ride from the lower station to the upper station. Upon arrival, you can catch a bird eye view of Penang Island. This railway was first opened in 1923 as a two - sections railway, and the system was overhauled in 2010.

Next, visit Kek Lok Si Temple, you will see the 36. 5 meters high bronze statue of Kuan Yin (Guanyin), the Goddess of Mercy. After spending some time here, you can visit the Pagoda, officially known as Bon Po Thar. Be amazed by the Kek Lok Si Pagoda as how it was built. The base of Pagoda was built in a Chinese Style, the center part is Thai & the top part is Burmese style. Take some beautiful photos, enjoy the peaceful & calm atmosphere with cool breeze before head down back to the cruise port.

Founded by the British, Fort Cornwallis is where they first arrived in Malaya. After that, the trip will continue along the Esplanade with a nice perspective of the mainland. Stopped to learn about the white City Council Hall, Malaya's former British administrative office.

Walk through 'The Harmony Street' to visit the Anglican Church, Chinese Temple, Hindu Temple, and Kapitan Keling Mosque. Flower garland vendors, Chinese prayer shops, restaurants, currency exchange, and jewelry stores are along the path. Each site has its own unique story. The journey continues to Jalan Armenia and Clan Jetty, where Chinese have lived the house on the water since the mid-19th century.
