After a short 1.5-hour walking tour in Klaipėda, we will continue to Palanga, the summer capital of Lithuania. There we will visit the Botanical Garden, the Amber Museum–Gallery, the main pedestrian street J. Basanavičiaus Avenue, the famous Palanga Pier, and the sandy Baltic Sea beaches. Klaipėda & Palanga Highlights Tour Part 1 – Klaipėda Old Town Walking Tour (1.5 hours) We start by exploring Klaipėda’s historic Old Town. During the walk, we will see: - Klaipėda Town Hall - The Meridianas sailing ship – one of the city’s beloved symbols - Klaipeda castle - Drama Theatre Square - The charming “Friedrich Town” district And several other hidden corners of Klaipėda Part 2 – Trip to Palanga, Lithuania’s Summer Capital (3–3.5 hours) After the walking tour, we drive about 30 min to Palanga. There we will: Visit the Amber Museum–Gallery, located in the stunning Botanical Gardens Enjoy a relaxing walk through the Tiskevičiai Manor Park Explore sandy Baltic Sea beaches Stop for lunch and try a local Lithuanian dish (optional) On the way back to Klaipėda, we make a short stop at the famous Dutchman’s Cap cliff and viewing platform for great photos and sea views.
