Cold War Museum - Full Day Tour in Klaipeda

Greta is an exceptional local Guide!! She provided an excellent tour of this Historical Cold War Museum which was a decommissioned Soviet Era Nuclear Missile Base. Additionally, Greta shared the culture and history of the area around Klaipeda, Lithuania. We especially enjoyed a local restaurant she recommended for our lunch. Fortunately, we asked Greta to join our lunch and she helped us select from the many savory dishes! We highly recommend Greta as an exceptional local Guide!!

Greta was wonderful to spend the day with. She showed us the old missile base and then Klaipeda where she suggested an excellent place for lunch. She was very knowledgeable and fun to talk to. An excellent day!

Our entire family enjoyed our tour with Greta. She drove us over an hour each way to the Cold War Museum, providing interesting information on Lithuania along the way. The museum required a tour guide. Greta is so knowledgeable that she was supplementing the museum tour guide’s information, which the entire tour got to benefit from. We visited a restaurant with Lithuanian food for us to try. Greta explained the menu and helped us to make our selections. We finished the day with a walking tour in Klaipeda. She showed us things that we would have never found on our own. We highly recommend Greta for your tour.

We had a fabulous day with Greta and her husband Mindaugas. We arranged a private tour to the Cold War museum, a Jewish Memorial and the Old Town of Klaipeda. Both Greta and her husband were knowledgeable and engaged in everything we did. They also took us to a wonderful restaurant outside of Klaipeda city, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
