• Takayama Morning Market – Start your day at one of Takayama’s charming morning markets, where you’ll find local produce, handmade goods, and friendly vendors. • Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine – Visit this peaceful shrine surrounded by nature and learn about its connection to Takayama’s famous festivals. • Takayama Old Town (Sanmachi Suji) – Take a stroll through the charming old town, with its traditional wooden houses, shops, and sake breweries (sake tasting available). • Hida Kokubunji Temple – Visit one of the oldest temples in the area, famous for its beautiful three-story pagoda. • Hida Furukawa – Discover this lesser-known lovely little town, known for its traditional streets and peaceful canals filled with koi fish.
