Nature Adventure in Ocho Rios, Jamaica - Half Day Shore Excursion

The countryside's lush greenery is just waiting to be explored on any given day. On this tour, we'll travel along a scenic ride through the evergreen Fern Gully, which spans approximately 3 miles which was once a thriving river course, now enchants with its meandering roads adorned by a lush tapestry of ferns and towering trees. This natural landscape will make us feel like we're going through a small forest. We'll also visit a local village that overlooks Ocho Rios with a glimpse of the Caribbean Sea. There'll be many photo stops along the way so you can capture some of the beautiful scenes. There are also many roadside shops where we could come across locals engaging in their daily activities (shopping is optional). In addition to this, we could also satisfy your tastebuds with locally prepared food, as you take your time to discover and immerse yourself in a culture that is sure to peak your interest. This is a flexible private tour, so we'll be able to go at your pace.

· You'll be picked up from either the cruise ship port, a villa, hotel or Airbnb's located in or around Ocho Rios. · Then, we'll travel through the town of Ocho Rios, passing interesting landmarks such as the the original craft market and the clock tower which is located in the center of town. · Next, we will drive south towards Fern Gully which is a forested area and a former river bed. · Afterwards, we'll drive through a local village and get a bird's eye view of the town below, as we interact with locals, for example, passing by independent vendors and shops. We might come across a local spiceman. · Later, we'll stop at a local eatery to satisfy your tastebuds. · At last, you'll be taken back to your pickup point.
