Come see Fern Gully, an oasis of nature to the city dweller. This drive through national park has the profusion of tropical ferns which tallies over 500 species and the king of foliage only to be found in a tropical rain forest. Visit a small coffee plantation in the hills of St. Ann and closely inspect the beans at one stage or another as cultivation takes on it various process. Then travel to Liberty Hill Great House which was built in 1740 and sits on 25 acre of breath-taking landscape 1, 200 ft. above sea level. We will visit the little old house and statue of Jamaica's first national hero Marcus Mosiah Garvey. He was born in the little town of St. Ann's Bay but took the world for his stage. Drive through a local village and see the locals at work or play. A visit to a local Jamaican eatery will put an interesting finish to your day's adventure as you note how the best Jamaican jerk is done right before your very eyes, or you may just want to end the day lazing on one of our pristine white sand beach
Richard was great and we would highly recommend him! He picked us up at the appointed time and took us where we asked plus gave a very informative narrative of the history of the area. The surprise bonus was arriving at a local restaurant for the best chicken we've ever had! Fun time for sure!
Richard was an excellent guide! He modified our tour to make it fully wheelchair accessible for my son. He also made changes to the tour while we were going based on what we wanted to do, like tasting local fruits from roadside stands to eating Jamaican patties. We saw so much during our tour.

From the minute we met Richard, we felt like we were being picked up by an old friend of ours. My wife and I had a day we will never forget. Richard proved to be patient, knowledgeable and funny. We did not have a set itinerary and wanted to find a location in the parish of St Catherines as a trip down memory lane for a family member. He brought along a fellow guide Ava familiar with the area. We also visited Milk River Mineral Bath. All in all both Richard and Ava did everything possible for us on this trip, we laughed, drove down some roads that showed Richard to be an expert and safe driver and 9 hours later left with smiles on our faces!!
