Ciao! My name is Rosa, I’m a professional walking and hiking guide across the Amalfi Coast and the Cilento National Park. I’ve been exploring these paths since I was 12 years old, and that childhood passion has become my life’s work and what I love to share with my guests today.  I believe the best way to discover my region is on foot—it’s the most relaxing and truthful way to connect with the land. I think my tours are specials because I prefer the authentic places, where you can experience the real life. I prefer to think people coming here as travelers, not only tourists so I plan my tours by asking myself: "What would I want to experience if I were visiting this place for the first time?"  Together, we’ll escape the crowded places to find "secret" spots reachable only by ancient trails. Along the way, it’s common to meet local farmers with their donkeys or working in the fields. They are as curious about you as you are about them, often stopping for a friendly chat that makes you feel truly welcome.  To travel is also to taste! I'm a foodie and I love to share my favorite local spots—from family-run organic farms to home restaurants tucked away in vineyards. We can have a mozzarella-making class, a Limoncello or Wine tasting or plan a pasta workshop. People are very proud of their places, generous in sharing their knowledge and they will make you feel part of the family! I specialize in small, intimate groups (typically 4-7 people) to ensure a high-quality, personal connection. However, I can host up to 12 guests and I am happy to customize every detail based on your pace and preferences.  Join me for an experience that will leave you with lifelong memories. I’m sure we’ll have a lot of fun—I can’t wait to meet you! * Licenced official guide of Vesuvius National Park from 2008 * part of AIGAE (Italian Association of Excursions Guides)from 2012 to 2021 * part of LAGAP (Italian Association of Professional Guides for Excursions) from 2022 * IELTS Certification in English Language - level C1 Advanced (UK in 2011) I cannot guide inside archeological sites, museums and churches. I can do city trekking tours or walking, hiking and trekking tours along paved path or mountain walks

Overview of your Amalfi tour

This is a perfect tour for who loves nature, culture and food! An easy hike in the most unique valley, surrounded by a gorgeous nature we discover the history of the Amalfi paper production and we enjoy a great lunch in one of the best farm to table. We walk into one of the most amazing valley following the Canneto river. The scenery is amazing, we are surrounded by a green environment and the clear water of the river jumps on the rocks creating lots of waterfalls and pools. This is the place where in the 13th century local people started to produce paper using cotton, a technique learned from the arabs. Along the way we find the ruins of the old abandoned paper mills, it's a unique example of industrial archeology in the south of Italy. The deepest spot in the valley is a Natural Reserve with the most spectacular waterfalls, a kind of rain forest, unexepted. It's a protected area where the "Woodwardia radicans" grows, a pre-historic fern that can be 2 meters long!

Rosa was absolutely delightful! We learned so much about the history of Amalfi, and we had no idea there was so much beauty in the nature reserve she took us to!! The paper mills from long ago were interesting to learn about, and we had an especially tasty lunch because of the fresh ingredients grown at a beautiful family owned restaurant "Agricola Fore Porta" Yum! Thank you Rosa!

This was the second tour we did with Rosa and she is absolutely an amazing guide & very special and kind human. This tour was magical as it went into the valleys, lemon fields and rain forest. Due to a recent landslide, we did the entire hike, then walked over 1000 steps back up to have lunch at a quaint family-owned farm. The experience made you smile inside and out and the food was the best! Rosa is absolutely a gem, and her passion and knowledge of Italy is unsurpassed. Can't wait to see Rosa again!

She is totally amazing, she has a wonderful command of the English language, very knowledgable, very sweet, and also very funny. We loved our hike through the pontoon region and the farm to table dinner we had was outstanding. She answered all of our questions, took several pictures of us and spent the entire day with us and then even walked us home to Amalfi after the tour. You are very fortunate to have such a wonderful guide and personality as part of your team.
