The gastronomic tour in Sorrento from Positano

A day spent between local flavours and gastronomic traditions of the Sorrento Coast. I will drive you around the village, showing you the best places and the most famous farms located in the Sorrento peninsula. You will see where and how the local olive oil is produced, in the biggest oil farm of the area. The owner of the farm will explain you the process of the oil and you will taste it. Here you can also buy and ship your favourite products. I'll bring you in an unic place where you will see how mozzarella is made traditionally by hand, in a local factory. Of course we can't miss one of the many limoncello factories, to see how we make the famous liquor and to taste it. At the end of the tour, why not to stop in a local gelato shop, where they produce our fresh handmade gelato.

The itinerary will be very flexible and customizable, depending also on your preferences, with many choices: 1) Visit to the famous olive oil farm of Sorrento, where you will see the explication of the olive oil process and you will taste many qualities of it. 2) Visit of the lemon grove, Limoncello tasting with illustration of antique recipe and the homemade lemon and orange marmallades on homemade bread. 3) Mozzarella factory, where the cheese maker will show you the cheese production process and he will prepair ricotta and mozzarella cheese in front of you. 4) Honey and marmalade farm. 5) Lunch in a local restaurant with different specialities. In alternative pizza cooking class, where you can prepare your own pizza or local wine tastig (optional). After the farmhouses and lunch, it is time to visit other places in Sorrento, for shopping, walking around and visit the handmade gelato shop. We can customize the itinerary as you prefer.
