NEW FREE WIFI IN CAR !!! 31 years ago I said goodbye to sunny Australia and settled in Israel. After living on a kibbutz in the north for 3 years I joined the IDF medical corp. as a physiotherapist treating wounded soldiers. During this time I married and now have a wonderful family and we live in a quaint little town called Binyamina. As a family we loved to travel all over our beautiful country and over the years I have shared the country with many family and friends from abroad. I was often told that I was wasting my time as a physiotherapist and that my true calling is guiding. David was great! Very easy to communicate with and very responsive. We spent the day touring from Haifa cruise port and would do it again. A private tour is the way to go since it offers the most flexibility and avoids crowded buses. David was very accommodating and flexible in the towns/sites we wanted to see and was very knowledgeable regarding the history/information at all of our stops. The lunch spot he suggested was excellent too. Excellent vehicle/transportation too. I highly recommend.

A highlight of our 28 day "trip of a lifetime" was the full day tour of Jerusalem Dave provided. He picked us up in Haifa and drove us quickly and safely to Jerusalem. We spiraled in to the main sights starting with Mt. Scopus for an overview of the whole city, the archeological museum for a look at the city center model and the dead sea scrolls, then in through the Jaffa gate for a wonderful walking tour. Dave is very knowledgeable about Israel, but also shared alot about Israeli life including his own.

We had a great time with David during our day's tour. He is very knowledgeable and gave us a good history of the events in the places we visited. As a person born in Australia he naturally has perfect English and his Hebrew is also good. We would certainly recommend him to our friends and indeed use him again on any further visit to Israel.

Your Haifa tour itinerary

One of many options is as follows. -1st stop on Mt Carmel overlooking the spectacular views of the Bahai gardens. -Then of to Nazerath touring the Basilica of Annunciation and St Josephs Church. -Continue past Canna, home of the 1st Miracle. -Next stop Jorden river , with a chance to be Baptized. -After lunch a visit to Magdelna, Church of the loaves and fish and MT beatitudes. -Then returning to the ship. There are other option from haifa. I could also meet you at Ashdod port if required.
