Overview of your Balikpapan tour
The private tour for one day at Balikpapan, East Kalimantan while explore the Bangkirai Hill. Walk inside through rain forest and climb up the canopy bridge to get a magnificent view of the forest. We will make a short stop at the Sun Bear Education center to see sun bear, the mascot of Balikpapan city. The last visit is to enjoy the canoe trip to Mangrove Center with passing small river at Balikpapan Bay and try to find any wild proboscis monkey. For a group of more than 3 people please inquire, I will be able to provide a larger car and a customized tour.
Your Balikpapan tour itinerary
Pick-up service at 10. 00 am from the airport or your hotel, direct transfer to Bangkirai Hill for about 1, 5 hours. Arrival and introduction the area. Start to walk through rain forest to the canopy bridge and climb up the stairs, about 30 meters up from the ground. We could see the beautiful forest from the tree. Continue walk through the rain forest. Take a rest and direct transfer to Sun Bear Education for about 1 hour. See the feeding time of sun bear and surroundings. Meals en route at local restaurant. Continue to Mangrove center with canoe trip and pass the river, find any wild proboscis monkey and see the sunset at Balikpapan bay.
