Orangutan Borneo - Bangkirai Hill - Black River Full Day Tour

Enjoy this one day tour at Balikpapan city, East Kalimantan with a visit to the Orangutan rehabilitation center and Sun Bear Sanctuary at Samboja Lodge. Take a walk through the forest at Bangkirai Hill and climb-up the canopy bridge. The tour finishes with a canoe trip at Black river where you may see the wild Proboscis monkey and a local fisherman's village.

Pick up service from your Hotel at 06. 30 am, direct transfer to Samboja Lodge for 1, 5 hours. See the feeding time of orangutan and sun bear, continue to the office tower, in this place you will have a lot of information about the project of Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation. Return to the lodge for lunch time with Indonesian buffet. Continue to the Bangkirai Hill, these areas known as Bukit Bangkirai, as most of the trees are Bangkirai. Entrances the forest through the track step for investigate any kind of flora and fauna of borneo rain forest. There is Canopy Bridge which is connecting between the trees, about 30 meters from ground with 64 meters foot step.
