Overview of your Balikpapan tour
During this tour, you'll get to observe the Borneo orangutans and sun bear around the lodge. This area is strictly for the orangutan's survival foundation, which has been developing since 1992 in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan. Today the Samboja Lodge has about 180 orangutans, that have been released into 6 islands around, and they are re-forestation and protection rain forests. Come join me on a visit to the Samboja Lodge! For groups of more than 3, please contact me, and I will be able to arrange a larger vehicle and create a customized tour for you.
Your Balikpapan tour itinerary
Pick-up Service in the morning around at 7 am. . Transfer to Samboja Lodge for about one hour and a half, to visit orangutan island and see regular feeding time at 08:00 am. . We continue to visit the Sun Bear Sanctuary and Office Tower. . Next, we have lunch at Samboja Lodge with an Indonesian buffet. . Return to Balikpapan.
