Eagle's Nest for Cruise guests with a licensed Austriaguide

Dietmar (Didi) N. is an exception guide, I would recommend using this young man with any tours desired but specifically within the Ober Salzburg and Berchtesgaden areas where our tour was conducted. Didi's first hand understanding of the areas noted and his extraordinary intuitive knowledge as a tour guide paid huge dividends in allowing us to view all the sites that were planned with-in the time frame afforded - accounting for weather, rush-hour traffic and the need to return to our Tauck vessel prior to its' departure.

Didi was terrific, and knew such an amazing amount of history in detail that made our long planned for tour an absolute pleasure.

Fantastic tour, and fantastic guide! Eagle's Nest was amazing. And Didi was incredibly knowledgeable/informative. He designed it exactly as I requested, prioritizing Eagle's Nest, but still taking us to all the major Sound of Music sites. He speaks English very well, and had everything planned exceptionally well, from pre-purchased Eagle's Nest tickets to restroom breaks. We even had to cancel our first scheduled trip on very short notice and he refunded us though he didn't have to. Highly recommend!

Didi is the ultimate professional. His knowledge and enthusiasm is very good. Our group was exposed to things that we would have never been exposed to on large group tours. Eagles Nest was closed but we were exposed to things that otherwise we would not. I would highly recommend him to anyone, if I ever returned would look him up again

just what we were looking for. Too bad the weather was not better!

Our ToursByLocals guide, Didi, was FANTASTIC and we highly recommend the company and guides. We were able to cover so much more ground than our ship's scheduled excursion that the cost was well worth every dollar spent. Our guide got us into places that the gathered crowd did not see, got us to the front of the line, and had so much local information that we were the envy of our cruise when we returned to the ship.
