You want to visit Lübeck for the first time? I am a driverguide in Hamburg. And I like to visit our hansatic sister at the baltic sea. So please come with me. I would like to show you the historical centre of this old and special city. On the old-town-island between the rivers Trave and Wakenitz, there are not only the holsten-gate, the town hall and large churches, but also the many corridors and courtyards, that give Lübeck its special charm. Enjoy a stroll through the streets of Lübeck. Since 1987 it is a UNESCO-heritage-site And at the latest when you eat a piece of marzipan cake at Niederegger's, you will be thrilled by Lübeck. My minibus can accommodate up to 8 people. An step will help you to come in, child seats are available. All are welcome.

Though our time in port on our cruise was short, Bernd made sure we saw as much as we possibly could while visiting Lubeck. He was so knowledgeable about the town and used photos/drawings of the past and maps that helped us understand the history of the town and places we visited. He was also able to make the entire tour wheelchair accessible for us. The tour was totally seamless, he knew exactly where to go for wheelchair access, which is not always the case with guides in an older town. We really appreciated all of the thought he put into the tour that was exactly what we hoped it would be!

Bernd was an excellent tour guide for us from our ship at Kiel to the medieval city of Lubeck. He kept in touch prior to our tour and was on time to meet us. He was well prepared with visual materials during our tour and his English is very good and we had no trouble understanding him. He also provided a very comfortable ride in his electric Mercedes van. Highly recommended.
