Tahiti North Coast Culture and Waterfall Private Half Day Tour

This review is actually about our second day with Max. He was willing to split his whole day tour into two, to accommodate us seniors. The first tour was of Tahiti Nui, the northern island. The second tour was of Tahiti Iti, the southern island. Max continued to enthrall us with Tahiti history, picking up where he left off the day before. We went as far south on Tahiti Iti as the site of the Olympic Surfing site, which Max appeared to have special interest. We had arranged for Max to drop us off at the airport for the flight home. We actually brought our luggage with us and despite unexpected traffic he got us there on time. Travel with confidence with Max.

If you want to learn all about Tahiti and Polynesian history and culture, then Max is your guide. Not only did we hit every spot of interest, we had an entertaining time doing it. Max was very accommodating. We are senior citizens and felt that a whole day tour would be too much, so Max split it into two tours. By the way, he loves to take profile pictures for you, so look your traveler's best. Great fun.

Max was an incredible guide! Very personable, knowledgeable and a lot of fun to be with. The tour was very comprehensive and informative with a history of the island, mythology and wonderful stories of the filming of Mutiny on the Bounty, visiting the site. The stops along the route were perfectly timed to sightsee, shop a bit, use facilities and visit the gorgeous island. We fed chickens and eels and took amazing photos of each stop along the way. Maxim provided a tremendously thorough narrative of every aspect of Tahiti on our tour around the island. We were amazed at the depth of knowledge and folklore throughout the trip. He accommodated us in every way even providing small comforts such as bug spray. A big highlight was the refreshing cool off in falls at two sites. Max made it an unforgettable day.
