Hello, dear friends! My name is Maxim, and I invite you for amazing adventure in Tahiti, sacred pearl of South Seas. I would like you to get a taste of our gorgeous island, which is lost in the vast Pacific Ocean and surrounded with beautifully shaped volcanic Islands and coral atolls. You are about to discover the unique place where many people from simple sailors and seamen to celebrities and great artists have been found their hidden Paradise. I am a professional traveler and researcher. For more than 10 years, I was voyaging around Europe focusing mostly on extreme expeditions (mountains, hikes, kayaks, ski, etc. ). Then I started the journey of my dream - 20 years cruising boat circumnavigation across 30 countries of the world. My passion was to live in the places along the sailing route as much as I can to make deep studies of the Culture and the People. After 12 years of living and traveling in European, African, Caribbean and Latin American Countries, I moved to French Polynesia - Country of my dream. For 5 years, I was voyaging with a boat around in many special and remote places to study the local nature, the culture and the people. I am very passionate to share my knowledge with you - our lovely Tahiti visitors. Especially I focus on non-standard tours for those who would like to get immerse deeper in this beautiful Country, its Nature and its Story. I am graduated in neural sciences, and during my journeys I am always focusing on people's experience - personal, cultural, spiritual. . During my tour, in addition to geographical and historical information about French Polynesia and Tahiti, I use to uncover the secrets about local people's mentality, customs and internal life. I am very flexible and sensitive to your requests and particular interests and our time together is going to be an answer to your expectations and desires in discovering the hidden soul of this amazing Country and its people! Feel free to request any customized tour if your desires here are beyond of the offers in described programs! Welcome to Tahiti! Very knowledgeable, friendly, professional and FUN!
We had a wonderful tour of Moorea with Max. He was very knowledge, engaging and helpful throughout our tour. His constant information was so enjoyable and he ensured we saw all the beautiful sites and history that Moorea has to offer. We just didn't drive around the Island, we stopped many times to see beautiful views, beaches and off the beaten path shops and sites. We also had a delightful lunch at a little restaurant right on the beach. I also need to mention our driver, Phillip. He was extremely kind and made our tour that much better. If you want a great tour of Moorea, we would highly recommend Max to be your guide. You will certainly not be disappointed.
This was a wonderful tour.Max was knowledgeable about all of Mo’orea and so much fun.So many beautiful sights and special things like my guava smoothie.Max and our driver Phillip went out of there way to make our day special.
We loved our tour of Moorea with Maxim. He is cheerful, friendly, helpful and fluent in both English and French. We felt safe and welcome when our ship arrived at the dock in Papeete and Maxim was there to greet us and escort us to the nearby ferry terminal for the half-hour trip to beautiful Moorea. This lovely, green and quiet island is a treasure trove of clean, peaceful beaches, tropical flowers, waterfalls and ancient sacred sites created by the first Polynesian residents. Maxim seemed to know everyone on the island and all the best places to visit, and he is a walking encyclopedia of information about the history and culture of this magnificent place. We could not have found a better guide!
We have been utilizing toursbylocal for many years and I must say Maxim was one of the best guides we’ve had for our 6 hour Moorea tour. Extremely knowledgeable, personable and flexible. We are excited to have another opportunity tomorrow to have Maxim as our guide in Tahiti.
