Angele was fabulous! What a treat to spend a half day with such a knowledgeable and personable woman.

Angele is a delight! She seems to know everyone and we learned that she trained many of the island’s guides. Her historical grasp is encyclopedic. There is only one road around Tahiti’s main island and because of the heat we chose to limit our time out of the lovely air conditioned van. We chatted non stop, learned so much, saw the major attractions and bought a package of the best fresh fruit I ‘ve ever eaten. She is the kind of guide you wish you had everywhere. Highly recommended!

Angele was amazing, we really enjoyed our half-day with her. She is very knowledgeable and very proud of her country! The van was comfortable, spic and span clean, and it had plenty of room and we really enjoyed out afternoon with her.

We had a thoroughly delightful afternoon with Angele. She is warm and welcoming, knowledgeable —- answering our 1000 questions without skipping a beat. She conducted our tour just as we had asked, also introducing us to her neighbors and local vendors as we drove around. We sampled hot donuts, Tahitian-variety ban anas, breadfruit chips! The pace was relaxed but included all we could have asked. We explored beaches and waterfalls, gorgeous gardens, walked among giant plants, and discovered a sweet little shop to buy local goods for gifts. We felt we got an intimate look into the “real” Tahiti, far from the tourist scene. The tour far exceeded our expectations. We would give her…. 15 stars!
