Bonjour and welcome to Paris! I am Elliott and despite my name and red hair, I promise you that I was born and raised in Paris. After 30 years here, Paris has no secrets to me. I graduated in Political Science and started my career in public affairs, but I quickly changed my mind to become both a French-class teacher and an official Tour Guide (sharing and learning: my real passions). I have been guiding for six years now and I know how to make your experience in Paris unique and customized to your needs. As a passionate person, I will share with you history, art and food tips, as well as my insights on daily life in Paris. I love to share not only knowledge but also good stories that you can keep in mind. Bring landmarks and art to life, and help you feel like a French, that is my goal! Let me take you through the off-beat streets of Paris, the gems of the Louvre and d'Orsay. I look forward to sharing my passion with you on your next trip to Paris! Official Licensed Guide by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Political Science Graduate French Class Teacher I am not a driver.

Versailles is not only a wonderful palace that inspired Europe but also a symbol of the French monarchy, from its glory to its bloody fall. Together, we will explore how the palace was built by Louis XIV in only forty years. We will travel through time to explore Louis XIV's daily routine, Louis XV's crazy love life or Marie Antoinette's tragic destiny. I will explain to you how the sun king made a political tool of Versailles to create an absolute monarchy and how this model faded out all along the 18th century. Let's talk about military victories and defeats, poverty and tax inequality, the American Revolution and the French Revolution. Let's discover how this palace shaped our modern history. There will also be time to ask all you have ever dreamt of knowing on the life in Versailles : were they really not bathing ? Was it smelling very bad ? Was it nice to live in the palace as a courtier ? Or how do you feel when you are "guillotiné" ? (this one I might not have the answer yet. . . )
Please send me a tour request first so I can confirm tickets. 1 - I'll meet you at your preferred location and we will travel together to Versailles by train. 2- Reserved booking with skip-the-line tickets to the Palace (including guided tour of the Royal Chapel, King Louis XIV's apartments and bedchambers, Hall of Mirrors, Queen Marie-Antoinette's apartment & bedchamber, and the Coronation room) 3 - Guided walk in the garden where you will understand why Louis XIV loved so much his garden and discover his gardener's tricks to accomplish his dream. 4 - End of the tour in Versailles The program can be switch between garden and palace depending on the time slot of our tickets.
