Louis the XIV (the SunKing) was capable of transforming a swampy area in the outskirts of Paris, into the most opulent place in Europe: The Palace of Versailles. Let me take you through this incredible adventure into the daily life of the French kings! We will learn about the incredible history and architecture of the palace, how life at the Palace was that time, the rules of etiquette established by the king and until the mistake that led to the French Revolution! This full day tour includes also a stroll into the amazing Royal Gardens and an afternoon dedicated to Marie Antoniette’s heaven: Petit Trianon. A place unknown to the most.
Your Paris tour itinerary
- Travel in all comfort with a pick up arranged at your Hotel stay in Paris in a climatized private Van. - Once at the palace we enter with our Skip the Line entry ticket, without the hassle of waiting in long queues. - We are going to focus the visit on the State Apartments, the King and Queen's bedroom, and of course the magnificent Hall of Mirrors! - To follow we will stroll through the groves of the Royal Gardens and we will end up at the restaurant for lunch (food not included in tour cost). - Afternoon visit to "Petit Trianon". This marvellous place used to be the private residence within Versailles of M. Antoniette. - At Petit Trianon we visit the Palace itself, but also its charming English style & the queen's hamlet commissioned for her personal use. This will also be the last part of our visit, before returning to Paris by private Van arranged for you. * Be aware that during high season the starting time of the tour might be affected to tickets available at the moment of the reservation. *
